Dieses Wochenende habe ich ja mal die App Tooxme testen wollen und bin dafür extra in den französischsprachigen Teil der Schweiz gereist. Gut, Fribourg ist auch nur 30 Bahnminuten von Bern entfernt, aber die ganzen Zollkontrollen unterwegs – keine einzige, wie enttäuschend!
Der Test lief nicht ganz so gut, und vor allem haben mich die etwa 15 Minuten entnervt, in denen ich mein Tooxme-Konto mit Guthaben aufladen wollte. Diese Usability-Enttäuschung habe ich hier ein wenig beschrieben.
Jetzt gibts noch ein paar Fotos zu der User Experience, durch die ich gestern mit Tooxme reisen musste. Wenn ich zum Beispiel ein solches Bild auf meinem Handy sehe …
… und dort lese, für die Zahlung mit PayPal seien „keine weiteren Informationen erforderlich“, dann wundere ich mich doch sehr, wenn genau die nächste Eingabemaske im Menü nach weiteren Informationen fragt – nämlich nach meinem Benutzernamen und meinem Passwort bei PayPal:
Sorry, nach der ersten Maske hatte ich als Benutzer erwartet, dass auf meinem Smartphone im Hintergrund bereits die installierte PayPal-App angefragt wurde und das Login erledigt hat. So hingegen fühle ich mich einerseits zwar sicher (die Tooxme-App greift nicht einfach aus der PayPal-App meine Logindaten ab), andererseits wurde meine geweckte Vorfreude (keine Angaben mehr notwendig, um die Bezahlung abzuschliessen) grenzenlos enttäuscht .
Das ist so ein bisschen wie in diesen episch langen TV-Werbesendungen für Backbelts oder endlos ausziehbare Gartenschläuche. Dort heisst es auch immer, wenn man sofort bestelle, bekäme man noch einen weiteren vollkommen nutzlosen Gegenstand „gratis für eine geringe Bearbeitungsgebühr von x.xx EUR“ dazu. Was genau haben diese Leute an „gratis“ nicht verstanden? Das heisst: nix bezahlen. Und „keine weiteren Informationen erforderlich“ kann sicherlich nicht übersetzt werden in: „Bitte geben Sie weitere Informationen ein.“
Leider wurde dann auch trotz erfolgter Guthabenaufladung mein Mitfahrwunsch nicht erfüllt. Das liegt aber hochwahrscheinlich daran, dass ich in dem Moment einfach die falsche Zielgruppe war. Ich wollte nur einmal kurz durch Fribourg, vom Bahnhof zur Kathedrale. Von @sdeinhofer, durch die ich Tooxme kennengelernt habe, erfuhr ich dann später, dass die Macher von Tooxme die Erfahrung gemacht hätten, dass vor allem Pendler auf ihr Angebot ansprechen würden.
Trotz allem war mein Ausflug nach Fribourg natürlich nicht nutzlos. Die Stadt ist erstens sehr schön, am Square des Places gab es ein Fest rund um Biere aus der Region, und ich habe mir auch noch ein tolles T-Shirt gekauft – ist ja logisch, dass es dieses Motiv bei einem H&M in der Schweiz gibt:
